NIS Compliance Analyst – 6-week contract – Southampton – Outside of IR35 We're supporting a customer who is looking for an experienced NIS Compliance Analyst to join their team and play a hands-on role in driving their NIS compliance programme forward.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys turning strategy into action.
The organisation already has senior leadership defining the overall NIS direction and compliance roadmap, and they now need someone to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery, coordinating activities, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the required administrative and operational controls are implemented.
Skills & Experience from the NIS Compliance
Analyst: Proven experience delivering NIS (Network and Information Systems) compliance or supporting organisations through a NIS compliance programme.
Experience implementing governance, risk and compliance controls rather than defining high-level strategy.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coordinate teams across the business.
Experience creating, maintaining and evidencing policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
Excellent organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Knowledge of the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) is advantageous.
Experience with ISO 27001 implementation, compliance or certification is highly desirable, with an understanding of how its principles translate into NIS requirements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the NIS Compliance
Analyst: Drive the implementation of NIS compliance activities across the organisation.
Take ownership of action plans, ensuring tasks are completed and compliance milestones are achieved.
Engage with technical teams, business units and key stakeholders to gather evidence and ensure actions are delivered.
Implement and maintain administrative, governance and security controls required for NIS compliance.
Coordinate activities across multiple departments to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Ensure documentation, policies, procedures and evidence are maintained to support compliance.
Work closely with the existing NIS lead, translating strategic objectives into practical deliverables.
