About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Delivery Driver to join a busy and fast-paced commercial laundry operation.
This role combines delivery driving with manual handling duties and requires a reliable, hardworking individual who is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities Delivering and collecting laundry from customer locations.
Loading and unloading laundry bags and containers safely.
Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on time and professionally.
Supporting the laundry operation when required.
Monitoring equipment and machinery, reporting any issues promptly.
Maintaining high standards of customer service.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
Manual Handling Requirements This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and moving of laundry bags.
Examples include:
Single collections or deliveries of up to 200 laundry bags weighing approximately 1015kg each.
Multiple daily delivery routes involving smaller quantities at various customer locations.
Loading and unloading vehicles throughout the working day.
Candidate Requirements Full UK Driving Licence.
Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
Good level of physical fitness.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
