About the IT Analyst Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team and play a key role in providing and maintaining an efficient, secure, and cost-effective technology environment that supports our organisation and the communities we serve. In this role, you will help maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, software applications, telephony equipment, Housing Management Systems, and digital corporate systems. You will contribute to the design and development of technology solutions that support Teign Housing's objectives and enable colleagues to deliver excellent services.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Location: Devon, TQ12 4PH.
What you'll be doing
As our IT Analyst, you will:
- Deliver effective IT support services to users and systems
- Monitor and maintain network, infrastructure and system performance
- Install, configure and maintain software, servers, networks and communications equipment
- Support IT equipment setup, maintenance and repairs
- Maintain IT security compliance with legislation and standards
- Support cyber security activities, testing and remediation
- Manage IT equipment, consumables and stock levels
- Create and maintain IT documentation, reports and user guides
- Support the development and maintenance of business continuity plans
- Liaise with third-party IT suppliers and support providers
- Collaborate on IT projects to build knowledge and capability
About you
You will bring your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to help us continuously improve our IT services. You will be someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality support, embraces new ideas, and uses initiative to make a positive impact. You'll ideally have:
- Experience working within an IT department or a recognised IT/digital qualification
- A proven track record of successfully supporting staff and teams
- Experience delivering successful IT innovative solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- The ability to analyse statistical information and interpret technical data
- A keen interest and desire to progress within IT
