Due to continued growth and significant investment across their state-of-the-art fabrication facility, we are seeking Equipment Shift Technicians and Maintenance Technicians to join their expanding engineering team.

The Role
As an Equipment Shift Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting highly specialised semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring maximum equipment up-time, supporting production performance and responding to technical issues within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance activities, perform first-line fault finding and troubleshooting, and work closely with Engineers, Production Operators and fellow Technicians to minimise downtime and drive operational performance.
Working within a clean-room fabrication facility, you will follow standard operating procedures, maintenance schedules and quality standards while ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on semiconductor production equipment and manufacturing systems.
- Diagnose equipment faults and perform first-line troubleshooting activities to restore operational performance.
- Support equipment reliability, up-time and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Work within a controlled clean-room environment while adhering to contamination control procedures.
- Follow maintenance schedules, standard operating procedures and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians and Production teams to resolve equipment issues and implement improvements.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
What We're Looking For
Full training is provided; however, successful candidates should possess a BTEC, HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline.
Previous experience within maintenance, manufacturing, production, engineering support, process engineering, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, facilities maintenance or technical operations would be beneficial. Semiconductor experience is not required.
You should be comfortable working in a structured engineering environment, able to follow technical procedures and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to working safely are essential.
Candidates must be willing to work either permanent day or permanent night shifts depending on business requirements.

- Back End Days (20% Shift Allowance) 7:00am - 7:00pm Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Front End Nights (50% Shift Allowance) 7:00pm - 7:00am Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- Back End Nights (50% Shift Allowance) 7:00pm - 7:00am Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
