We are looking for a teacher in A Level Computing within our Academic Studies Department. Based in our Academic Studies Department, we are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual to lead on and teach on our A-level Computing courses.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver a flexible and innovative curriculum that is responsive to learner needs and future developments within Computing education.
- Deliver excellent standards of teaching and learning across the curriculum area.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continued success of the department.
- Support students to achieve excellent academic outcomes and progression opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Holds a degree (or equivalent) in Computing, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Holds an appropriate teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS or equivalent) or is willing to work towards one.
- Has experience of teaching A Level Computing in a post-16 setting.
- Is an outstanding and innovative teacher who achieves excellent learner outcomes.
- Has strong organisational and communication skills.
