An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food Service Team Member to join a growing hospitality street food brand as they expand into a new food-to-go concept in Newcastle. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will prepare food, cook menu items and serve customers in a busy, fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working as part of a friendly team and delivering great customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Full job-specific training will be provided, and experienced candidates may also be considered for future supervisory or management opportunities as the business continues to grow.

What we need from you:
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a food or drink retail environment, or a similar customer-facing role such as street food, fast food outlets, or pubs
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • You must be within commuting distance of the venue
What the role involves:

This is an all-round role where team members prepare food, cook menu items and serve customers in a fast-paced food-to-go environment. Additional duties include:

  • Keeping the premises clean and tidy
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Taking payments using a card machine
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and stock rotation
Salary: Starting at £12.50 per hour during training, rising to £13.00+ per hour once fully trained.
Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available. Shifts are worked across 7 days, with start times between 10:00am and 11:00am and finish times between 11:00pm and 12:00 midnight. Days and hours are flexible and will be agreed based on your availability and the needs of the business.
