Emtec Building Services North is strengthening its delivery leadership team as we mobilise new projects and build on a strong, secured pipeline of work across the region. As part of this continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join us in Newcastle. This is a key leadership role where you will take full ownership of electrical projects from pre-construction through to handover. You'll be leading site teams, developing strong client relationships, and playing an active role in shaping our expanding presence in the North.
Emtec Building Services is a leading M&E contractor delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, from early design and pre-construction through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of Electrical packages across a range of commercial construction projects, while supporting the development of your teams and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading site and project teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Managing project budgets, reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Overseeing variations and tendering additional works where required.
- Providing technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentoring and developing your team, driving performance and encouraging professional growth.
- Building strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Supporting commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts.
