What you'll do:

  • Asset management of a regional portfolio of freehold and leasehold residential properties, ensuring they meet safety, satisfaction, and sustainability standards.
  • Monitor and enhance asset performance through financial, operational, health and safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Address strategic asset matters, including investment and divestment, with the support of the wider asset team.
  • Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant issues, ensuring compliance with legal terms and covenants.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and their operational teams to effectively implement the asset management strategy and regional asset plans.
  • Prepare and present concise monthly management reports to support decision-making and risk management.

You have:

  • Proven experience in property asset management across various residential tenures and property types.
  • Strong understanding of property litigation, including interpreting and enforcing covenants and lease terms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers and stakeholders.
  • Membership of The Property Institute (MTPI) and/or Associate RICS, or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding solutions and improving processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering great relationships to achieve common goals.

The practical bits:

  • Temporary (12 months), full time (37.5 hpw) Monday to Friday. You'll manage your own diary.
  • Flexible hybrid working, based at our Newcastle office, from home and across our property portfolio.
