DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION GOVERNANCE MANAGER
37 hours per week, based in Preston
£46,241.72 per annum
Reporting to the Head of Business Assurance, this is a varied and influential role, combining technical expertise with strong relationship-building, sound judgement and a commitment to excellent service.
You'll support the organisation to meet its information governance, UK GDPR and data protection and help colleagues across the business understand and apply good information governance in a practical, customer-focused way.
What we are looking for:
You'll have previous experience in a similar role, managing information governance, UK GDPR/data protection and Freedom of Information legislation.
You'll be confident managing compliance processes, producing accurate reports, supporting breach investigations and translating complex requirements into practical advice for colleagues.
You'll have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, professional curiosity and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to doing the right thing for tenants, customers and communities.
It would be great if you also had:
Experience of developing / delivering engaging training, guidance and awareness materials around data protection and information governance.

Working Arrangements
