We are looking for a Residential Care Worker to join our amazing team as we prepare to welcome a new child to our home. If you love working with children, especially those who may have experienced adverse childhood experiences, are dedicated to helping them grow and develop and want to provide a calm, nurturing presence, we'd love to hear from you.
In return for your expertise and excellence, we will also invest in you offering the training, support, and development you need to deliver exceptional care. From in-house learning to clear career pathways, we are here to help you grow as far as your ambition takes you.

- Salary: £29,232 plus £80 per sleep ins
- Hours: 40 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays

The Role
As our new Children's Residential Care Worker, you will:
- Work as part of a team to ensure the children are looked after 24/7, creating a safe, loving, nurturing home.
- Complete household tasks to ensure the home remains clean and tidy.
- Get to know the kids - what they like, what they need, and how to support them.
- Provide calm, reassuring care.
- Plan and prepare homecooked meals.
- Organise activities and events around hobbies and interests to capture imagination and engagement.
- Follow and update care plans, handover sheets and other relevant documentation.
- Follow our therapeutic model to help them stay calm and feel safe during dysregulated moments.
- Support school attendance and engagement.
- Be a team player creating a great working environment within the home.
- Be a key support for the Home Manager to achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.
- Prioritise your continual development and be open to learning new things.
