We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support our client, across their Sutton and New Malden branches on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers with timber or builders' merchant experience.
Pay Rates: £20ph 10hr shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering timber and building materials to commercial and residential sites
- Safe operation of HIAB (brick grab essential)
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance with road safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service on site
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid HIAB licence (brick grab or Hook required)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in a builders' merchant or similar environment preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
