Our client, one of the UKs fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Truck Tyre Technician based at their commercial centre in Nailsea, Bristol. As a Truck Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for fitting, balancing and repairing heavy-duty tyres across a range of trucks, commercial fleets, and haulage vehicles. The role will combine depot-based work with mobile field response, including emergency roadside callouts and scheduled fleet checks.
If you have experience as a commercial, HGV or agricultural tyre fitter, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business. Experienced car and van tyre fitters who are keen to develop their skills within the heavy commercial sector will also be considered, with full training provided.
Location: Nailsea, Bristol
Pay / salary: £33,000 - £34,000 basic OTE: Approximately £3,600 achievable bonus, plus overtime and on-call payments
Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 13:00, plus rotational on-call callouts.

Truck Tyre Technician Responsibilities:
- Fitting, balancing and repairing heavy-duty tyres on trucks, commercial fleets and haulage vehicles
- Carrying out mobile tyre fitting and emergency roadside callouts across the local area
- Completing scheduled fleet tyre inspections and health checks
- Inspecting wheels and tyres to ensure vehicles meet safe and legal compliance requirements
- Identifying and reporting faults, damage or potential tracking issues to the Branch Manager
- Completing accurate service logs, fleet inspection sheets and digital stock reports
- Working independently in a fast-paced mobile environment while also supporting the wider commercial team
- Working to company and industry health and safety standards at all times
To be a Truck Tyre Technician you will need:
- A valid, clean UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
- To be at least 21 years old due to mobile service vehicle insurance requirements
- Experience working as a commercial, HGV or agricultural tyre fitter is preferred
- Experienced car or van tyre fitters looking to train into the heavy commercial sector will also be considered
- Strong independent decision-making skills and the ability to work confidently in the field
- A passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop further
