Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Tewkesbury
Electrical-heavy FMCG engineering role | Rotating shifts | £20.59 per hour + overtime
Established in 1938, Cotteswold Dairy is one of the UKs leading independent family-owned dairies. We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Engineering Team at our Tewkesbury site.
Salary
£20.59 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
30 days holiday + company pension
Shift Pattern Rotating (2 Week Rota)
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 0600 1345 and Saturday, 0600 finish
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1345 2145 Participate in equipment breakdown call-out rota
Call out rota is roughly one week in six.
Retainer of £100.00 for the week on call.
£50.00 one-off payment per call out.
Hourly rate once clocked in.
The Role Respond to breakdowns across production and processing equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
Repair, test and recommission machinery safely
Work to strict Health & Safety standards
Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement
What Were Looking For
Essential: Electrical bias (minimum 70/30 electrical to mechanical split)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working on high-speed / automated machinery
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Experience within an FMCG or fast-paced production environment
Qualifications (one of the following or equivalent experience): HNC/HND/HNCD Level 4/5 in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
City & Guilds Level 4/5 Electrical Engineering
Equivalent job-based engineering experience
