Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical background looking to join a well-established manufacturing business with long-term stability?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturing company for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.
The Role
You'll play a key role in keeping production running by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of automated manufacturing equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Repairing, testing and recommissioning production machinery
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with engineering standards
Participating in the engineering call-out rota
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with engineers who have:
Strong electrical bias (approximately 70/30 Electrical/Mechanical)
Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced production environment
Excellent electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working on automated or high-speed manufacturing machinery
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, City & Guilds or equivalent experience)
What's On Offer?
£20.59 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
Weekly call-out allowance (£100 standby payment plus £50 per call-out, plus hourly rate when attending)

Week 1
Monday-Friday: 6:00am-1:45pm
Saturday: 6:00am-Finish
Week 2
Monday-Friday: 1:45pm-9:45pm
