The Role As an Operations Manager , youll be at the heart of our night operation, leading warehouse, transport, and van network performance.
Working any 4 nights over 7 (typically 22:00 09:00 , depending on volumes), youll ensure the depot runs efficiently, safely, and on budget.
Youll partner closely with Hubs, Transport, and Delivery teams to deliver an end-to-end service, while supporting and deputising for the Depot General Manager.
From managing costs and driving productivity, to developing your team and ensuring complianceyoull have the autonomy to make a real difference every shift.
Responsibilities Deliver the depot operational plan in line with budget, forecasted volumes, and performance targets Drive productivity and manage costs including labour, resource planning, and cost-per-unit (CPU) Maintain high operational standards through compliance with 5S, H&S, and quality audits Ensure high scanning compliance across inbound, outbound, and driver operations Support transport compliance including driver rotas and Working Time Directive adherence Lead and develop your team across recruitment, performance, engagement, and employee relations Interested?
