Overview of the Role
The position focuses on inspection, testing and follow-up remedial work to ensure electrical systems meet current standards. The working pattern is primarily Monday to Friday, with additional hours often available due to operational demands and occasional weekend work during planned shutdowns.
Core duties include:
- Conducting electrical testing and inspection in line with BS7671
- Checking and maintaining emergency lighting systems
- Completing remedial tasks identified during inspections
- Working in accordance with site procedures, safety requirements and job specifications
- Travelling directly to customer locations across the Southwest

Essential Qualifications & Experience for Electrician role

- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Basic DBS issued within the last 3 months

- Confident working independently and managing daily site travel
