The role of the Project Manager Building Materials will involve:
- Managing a range of large commercial Masonry Support projects
- Visiting site when required to conduct inspections and site assessments
- Managing the full project lifecycle from survey to handover
- Managing and coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure a timely and successful delivery
- Ensuring that works are completed safely and to the requirements
- Regularly liaising with the internal team to gain understanding of site requirements
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Handing over completed projects to clients
- Providing accurate information for regional monthly appraisals and various other reports
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager Building Materials with:
- Project Management experience within the construction industry
- Building products experience dealing with masonry support systems, brick slips, blocks, steel, concrete, facades or closely related products
- A related degree/qualification would be highly advantageous (construction management, civil engineering etc.)
- Organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure of large scale projects
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Understanding of current building regulations
