Chroma have partnered with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in West Yorkshire that are looking to add experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to its engineering function.

As part of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, hydraulics & pneumatics.

You'll be involved in fault finding, breakdown repairs, continuous improvement projects and equipment installations, ensuring downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment & solving technical challenges.

This role operates a Continental Shift Pattern (4 Days on, 4 Days off) Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements

  • Time-served Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Strong experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
