Insight Employment are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a leading bakery in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business producing a range of bread and bakery products.
This is a full-time position with immediate starts available and full induction training provided.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be working on a busy food production line within a bakery environment, helping to produce and package bread and buns to the highest quality standards.
This is a light-duty role but requires individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Working on a food production line producing bakery products.
Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Monitoring and maintaining high levels of food hygiene and safety.
Supporting the smooth running of the production process.
Carrying out quality checks on products.
Keeping work areas clean and organised.
Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience within a food production or manufacturing environment.
The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced setting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
A flexible, reliable, and punctual approach to work.
A strong awareness of personal hygiene standards.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
A willingness to work in chilled production areas when required.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating continental shift pattern. Applicants must be able to work both day and night shifts.
Day Shift
06:00 - 18:00
4 days on, 4 days off
3 days on, 3 days off
Night Shift
18:00 - 06:00
4 days on, 4 days off
3 days on, 3 days off
Rotation:
2 weeks on days
2 weeks on nights
Pay Rates
Day Shift: £12.80 per hour
Night Shift: £16.00 per hour
