Working with an extensive panel of lenders, they provide tailored funding solutions including asset finance, business loans, commercial mortgages, invoice finance, and more.
The Role
As a Finance Broker, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with business owners, and introducing suitable commercial finance solutions. You'll spend your day speaking with UK businesses, identifying funding requirements, qualifying opportunities, and guiding clients through the early stages of the finance process before progressing applications and managing relationships. This is a fast-paced role that rewards hard work, resilience, and determination.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Make 100+ outbound calls per day to prospective business clients.
- Build rapport with business owners and understand their funding requirements.
- Recommend appropriate commercial finance solutions.
- Manage the client journey from initial enquiry through to finance application.
- Gather and maintain accurate client documentation and records.
- Ensure all applications and documentation remain fully compliant.
- Maintain and update CRM records with detailed notes and activity.
- Develop long-term client relationships and generate repeat business.
- Work closely with lenders and internal teams to progress deals efficiently.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout every stage of the process.
- Continually develop your knowledge of commercial finance products and lender criteria.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, recruitment, estate agency, finance, or another target-driven environment.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to earn uncapped commission.
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident, resilient, and able to overcome objections.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
