Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-end instrumentation and is seeking an experienced Stores & Logistics Coordinator to manage stores, stock control and logistics operations, while providing support to the purchasing team.

Position Overview
Logistics: Prepare shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists and export paperwork.
Pack, label and prepare goods for shipment.
Arrange UK and international shipments, obtaining freight quotes and booking transport.
Manage import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with HM Customs regulations.
Provide customs clearance instructions and maintain commodity codes.
Track inbound and outbound shipments, updating internal teams and customers as required.
Check freight invoices against agreed rates and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain packaging stock and develop safe, efficient packaging procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment to move goods and assist with vehicle loading.
Ensure proof of collection and delivery documentation is received.
Stores & Purchasing: Manage the onsite stores, including goods receiving, stock control, kitting and inventory checks.
Replenish stock and process returns where required.
Raise and monitor purchase orders to maintain stock availability.
Support the Senior Buyer with day-to-day purchasing activities.
Stores & Logistics Coordinator Position Requirements Previous experience in a Stores, Logistics, Shipping or Supply Chain role within manufacturing.
Good knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
Experience working with freight forwarders and transport providers.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive approach with the ability to improve processes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.
