We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our Home Group contract, covering Harrogate and Darlington. The Role
As a Gas Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable and customer-focused services across occupied properties. You'll carry out a variety of gas servicing, repairs and installation works while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance. Working as part of a supportive and professional team, you will use a handheld device to manage and complete jobs efficiently, keeping customers informed throughout and delivering an excellent experience at every visit. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to utilise your technical expertise while making a genuine impact on the lives of residents.
About You
We're looking for a qualified Gas Engineer who is passionate about delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. You will hold current ACS accreditations including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1 and HTR1, together with a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds qualification. A valid Gas Safe registration and Unvented Hot Water (G3) qualification are essential. A JIB PMES Blue Card is desirable. Experience within social housing or property maintenance environments would be advantageous, although we welcome applications from engineers with transferable experience who share our commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. A full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, is required.
