Residential Conveyancer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent upon experience Location : Middlesbrough The Role We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a busy and supportive Residential Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage their own caseload while delivering exceptional client service throughout the conveyancing process.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, working closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other legal professionals to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.

Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.

Deal with transfers of equity and remortgage transactions.

Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients.

Maintain regular communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.

Ensure matters are progressed efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of client care.

Meet billing and performance targets where applicable.

Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures.

Support business development activities by building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and referrers.

About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience managing their own residential conveyancing caseload.

Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.

Excellent communication and client care skills.

The ability to explain legal matters clearly and without unnecessary jargon.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.

The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
