We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Forklift driver for our client in Middlesbrough. The ideal candidate would also have a Counterbalance license, but this is not essential.

Pay Rates: £13.50ph-£16.09ph depending on shift (+ earn holiday pay as you work)

Overtime rates for weekend work

Shifts: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm / 2pm-10:30pm / 10pm-6:30am - shifts do not rotate

You’ll be an essential part of the warehouse and logistics team, handling materials and finished products in a busy manufacturing environment. Heavy lifting is involved, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on role. All forklift truck licenses must have been completed within the last 3 years, and be externally accredited.

Duties:

  • Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and move goods throughout the warehouse
  • Carry out manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and moving stock when required
  • Store products in designated locations and assist with stock control activities
  • Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns
  • Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while following health and safety procedures
