Working an average 48 hour week, Monday to Friday, your typical start time would be 1700hrs Duties We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver at our Middlesbrough site.

Reporting to the Transport Manager in Middlesbrough and operating in a competitive market, you will be the face of Univar when delivering to our customers.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks The role would suit a competent individual with experience of trunking as you will be trunking and trailer swapping between our Univar Solutions locations, Widnes, Irlam & Cumbernauld being the most regular.

The role requires working to high standards in all aspects of your duties and the capability to work alone.

You will be serious about safety in everything you do and happy to be a team player.

Equipment Dedicated 75 plate DAF XG with built in sat nav, all round mirror cameras, fridge and safety related aids SDC trailers with bungee net load security system We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be flexible with work times.

It is essential that you are self-motivated and willing to learn.

You will have high standards in all that you do and possess excellent customer service skills.

An ADR certificate in packages and class 1 (C+E) HGV license is essential for this role.

Experienced in working night shifts Good knowledge of smart phones to work with apps for reporting defects, tachohgraph compliance and driver telematics
