MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multiskilled Technician to join a growing engineering team within the process and energy sector.
This role will involve working as part of a site-based engineering team, supporting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across operational facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical bias, ideally with experience in process controls, automation, and industrial environments.
As a Multiskilled Technician, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across operational sites
Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and process equipment
Supporting process control systems, automation, and instrumentation activities
Working alongside mechanical engineers and site teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with company procedures
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety standards
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
Minimum of 5 years' experience within an electrical/mechanical engineering role
Strong electrical bias with experience in industrial environments
Experience with process controls, automation, and electrical systems
Background within process industries such as utilities, water, energy, or similar sectors
Ideally experience working within biogas, anaerobic digestion, or related environments
A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, ideally within COMAH-regulated sites
