An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive team while working with a varied portfolio of clients.
The Role Key responsibilities include: Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns.
Preparing financial statements and management accounts.
Supporting audit assignments, including fieldwork where required.
Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong working relationships.
Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide a high standard of service.
Working alongside senior team members to ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified.
Good working knowledge of Xero.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
