Since the early 2000s, this company has grown into a multi-million-pound business with nearly 200 employees, providing logistics services to industries including automotive, food, and pharmaceuticals.
In this varied role, you will take responsibility for a fleet of around 80 HGVs operating across four UK sites.
You will liaise with site managers to coordinate servicing and maintenance schedules, develop departmental budgets, monitor repair costs, and respond to vehicle breakdowns by arranging repair services.
Alongside this, you will oversee the procurement of vehicle parts and negotiate with suppliers to secure the most cost-effective solutions.
This is a 45-hour-per-week role, with typical working hours of either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, and any additional hours are returned as time off in lieu.
This role would suit a Fleet Manager or similar with experience managing a fleet of 20 or more HGVs, looking for a varied and fast-paced role within a growing logistics company offering flexibility and long-term progression.
