We are seeking an experienced MEP CAD/BIM Technician to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) drawings and BIM models, supporting project delivery across a range of sectors.
This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams on challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for MEP building services projects.
Develop, coordinate, and maintain Revit MEP models in accordance with project BIM standards.
Carry out model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
Attend coordination meetings and resolve design clashes with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines.
Prepare drawing packages, schedules, and model deliverables to agreed project deadlines.
Ensure compliance with company CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
Support BIM implementation and continuous improvement across projects.
Assist engineers with design documentation and technical detailing.
Requirements Experience working as an MEP CAD Technician, BIM Technician, or similar role.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
Strong Auto CAD skills.
Good understanding of UK building services design and construction.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Knowledge of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 workflows.
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
Familiarity with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools.
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline.
