BAE Systems is seeking a Mechanical Mechanic to support F-35 aircraft maintenance activities. Reporting to the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will undertake a range of maintenance tasks on F-35 aircraft and/or aircraft components in line with approved technical information and organisational procedures.
Skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within EASA/MRP Part 145.
- Experience working on complex military aircraft programmes.
- Minimum City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent).
The Job:
- Carry out aircraft and component maintenance in accordance with Approved Technical Information, risk assessments and the organisation's MOE.
- Complete maintenance instructions and schedules for planned and unplanned tasks.
- Perform tasks including inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectification, component removal/replacement and functional/system testing.
- Ensure all work is correctly documented and that airworthiness records are maintained.
- Compile reports, identify issues and escalate where required.
- Comply with all company procedures, standards and safety requirements.
