What you will do:
- Lead and support packaging development activity from briefing and feasibility through trial, approval, launch and project closure.
- Plan, organise and attend packaging trials across MYD and MMI sites, ensuring clear trial objectives, robust data capture and timely follow-up actions.
- Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop, test and implement packaging materials and formats that fit manufacturing, customer, consumer, and sustainability requirements.
- Support packaging input into NPD, optimisation, cost saving, compliance and investment projects, keeping project teams clear on risks, timings and technical decisions.
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, technical documentation, material approvals, and launch readiness information in line with internal processes.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering and Quality to resolve packaging-related line issues, improve efficiency and support root-cause problem solving.
- Work closely with Print and Artwork colleagues to ensure packaging changes are managed accurately, on time and to the required quality standard.

- Confident project working style: organised, proactive, able to manage actions and communicate clearly across functions.
- Curiosity and energy to learn new technologies, challenge the status quo and help Mller deliver better, faster and more sustainable packaging solutions.
- Ability to travel regularly across UK sites and occasionally across the wider Mller network as project needs with a full driving license.
- Strong attention to detail, especially around food safety, compliance, quality, artwork and specification accuracy.
