Recruit4staff are representing a leading FMCG business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Market Drayton.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £57,289 per annum
  • Hours of Work: 7:00 - 7:00, 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Enhanced pension, life assurance, health care cover, £5,000 signing-on bonus*, annual 5% bonus

Job Role: The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, and maintaining both mechanical and electrical equipment within an FMCG environment. Responsibilities include using the PMS to support prioritisation and root cause analysis, contacting OEMs for support, reducing downtime through fault trend analysis, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. The engineer will also support 5S programmes and document all maintenance activities via the Electronic Maintenance Management System.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience within the FMCG industry
  • Must be Multi-Skilled
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in an Engineering Technical discipline

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Food industry background
  • IOSH / NEBOSH qualification
  • Recognised time-served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship

Additional Information: All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard. *£5000 signing-on bonus, subject to eligibility.
