They are now expanding their engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modern manufacturing-combining cutting-edge technology, large-scale automation and ongoing site transformation.

Staffline is recruiting Engineering Technicians to work in Market Drayton, Shropshire.

The rate of pay is £57,289 per annum, plus overtime!

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off, Days & Nights. The hours of work are: - 7am to 7pm - 7pm to 7am

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability
  • Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades
  • Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance
  • Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment

What you'll be working with

  • Highly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systems
  • High-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technology
  • Multi-axis robotic packaging systems
  • One of the UK's largest pallet cooling and transport systems

• Site-wide infrastructure including

  • Combined Heat & Power (CHP)
  • Advanced compressed air systems
  • Sustainability and recycling technologies

What we're looking for

  • A time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Experience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable)
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • A team player committed to high safety and performance standards
