Are you a highly organised administrator with a flair for data, reporting and coordination? Do you enjoy working across multiple teams, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes? If so, we have an excellent opportunity to join Tarmac as a Marine Commercial Administrator based at our Chichester office.

Supporting our marine business, you'll play a key role in managing commercial, financial and regulatory administration activities, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and efficient business processes that support our marine operations across the UK.

The Role

As our Marine Commercial Administrator, you'll provide vital support across commercial administration, financial reporting, compliance activities and office coordination. Working closely with operational, finance and commercial teams, you'll help maintain the integrity of business data while ensuring key reporting and compliance requirements are met. You'll also support the Marine Leadership Team through meeting coordination, action tracking and internal communications activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and validate cargo, production and invoicing data across business systems.
  • Produce regular reports and ensure accurate data reconciliation within SAP.
  • Support licensing, compliance and Crown Estate administration activities.
  • Coordinate office facilities, maintenance and day-to-day administrative requirements.
  • Provide reporting, audit documentation and revenue assurance support.
  • Organise meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking for the Marine Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate internal communications, including the quarterly marine magazine.
  • Build effective relationships with operational, commercial, finance and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in an administration, commercial support or finance support environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience within the marine, shipping or logistics sector.
  • Understanding of licensing, regulatory or compliance processes.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar business systems.
