We are working with a well-established Corporate Insurance Broker in Mansfield. While they have four decades of heritage, their recent growth trajectory has been significant. They are now looking for a Senior Account Handler to join the team and play a pivotal role in supporting their ongoing expansion.
This is a step up from the standard handler role. You won't just be processing renewals; you will be working directly alongside Account Executives on high-level corporate and commercial books, attending client visits, and gaining exposure to the London Market and Lloyds placements.
The Opportunity
This firm is built on a culture of development. They aren't just looking for someone to fill a seat - they are looking for a future leader. Whether you want to sharpen your technical expertise or eventually transition into an Account Executive role, the path is clear, and the internal support (including full ACII funding) is there to help you hit those milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Account Management: Maintain high-level contact with a sophisticated client base, ensuring their complex insurance requirements are met.

- Market Presence: Assist the broking team with London Market presence and placing business via Lloyds.
- Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of file accuracy and FCA adherence, ensuring the business continues to operate with precision.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven background as a Senior Account Handler. You have the technical 'know-how' to hit the ground running.
- Commercial Acumen: You understand how to sell, cross-sell, and, most importantly, how to build lasting rapport with both clients and underwriters.
- Professionalism: You are organized, clear in your communication, and capable of managing your own desk with minimal supervision.
- Ambition: You are looking for a long-term home where you can progress, supported by a business that invests heavily in your professional qualifications (ACII).
The Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + Bonus.
- Flexibility: Hybrid working model.
- Development: CII study support and a clear path toward Account Executive status.
- Time Off: 25 days holiday plus your birthday off.
