Due to significant growth and expansion, we require an experienced Design Engineer to join their expanding team and take lead of multiple electrical / building services projects throughout the UK and Europe.
What's involved for the Design Engineer
Produce route and layout drawings using Revit and CAD software.
Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and project teams to create detailed drawings of the company's products.
Engage with Revit models and utilize Autodesk Docs for efficient file sharing and project coordination.
Coordinate with internal teams, customers, manufacturing staff, and installation contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct occasional on-site surveys to support design and installation planning.
Work alongside the Engineering Department to deliver customer-focused solutions from project initiation through to completion.
Comprehensive product training will be provided to support the successful candidate's development.
What you'll need
Proficiency in Auto CAD is essential; experience with Inventor and Revit is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with electrical systems or building services is beneficial.
Capable of interpreting and understanding technical and engineering drawings.
Competent in the use of standard IT tools and software.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Skilled at managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
