About the Company
Our client is a well-established specialist in bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects, delivering high-quality solutions across a diverse range of sectors including commercial offices, museums, retail, hospitality and leisure environments.

As part of a strategic expansion of its internal design capability, our client is seeking a CAD Design Technician to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of bespoke joinery and fit-out projects from concept through to manufacture.

About the Role
The successful candidate will join a busy technical design team, supporting the delivery of bespoke joinery and fit-out projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.

Working closely with internal departments and project stakeholders, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and developing practical design solutions suitable for manufacture.

Projects may include commercial workspaces, cultural and heritage environments, retail interiors, hospitality venues, and other bespoke interior installations.

Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed CAD drawings and technical information for manufacture and installation.

Develop and refine design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.

Interpret architectural, design and client drawings and specifications.

Liaise with project, production and installation teams to ensure design intent is maintained.

Assist with material selection, detailing and technical problem-solving.

Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and in line with project requirements.

Support projects throughout the design and delivery process.

Candidate Requirements
Experience using Auto CAD or similar CAD software.

Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Experience within joinery, shopfitting, furniture manufacturing, fit-out, interiors or a related industry would be advantageous.
