The Role:
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join a skilled manufacturing team in Mansfield. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke joinery products, working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the required standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing bespoke joinery products from technical drawings
- Working with a variety of materials including panels, veneers, timber and solid surfaces
- Producing both straight and curved joinery components to a high standard
- Using a range of hand tools and woodworking machinery
- Assembling and fitting joinery components to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
About You:
- Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in working with panels, veneers, timber and solid surface materials
- Experience producing curved joinery work
- Able to work on your own initiative and manage workloads effectively
- Experience working within a joinery manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality work
