Tax Manager responsibilities:
- Partnering with Tax Directors and Senior Managers on complex advisory and compliance projects
- Delivering high-quality advice on acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, EOTs, share schemes, incorporations and remuneration planning
- Leading HMRC enquiry responses and reviewing junior team work
- Acting as a trusted technical resource for smaller firms and internal teams
- Coaching, developing and inspiring junior members of the tax team
As a Tax Manager you will:
- Be a people-driven professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative, modern environment.
- Be ACCA / ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Have circa 3+ years' post-qualification experience in tax within practice
- Have experience advising OMBs on corporation tax, income tax and CGT matters
- Exposure to VAT is a plus, but not essential
- Be a strong communicator with a proactive, hands-on attitude
