Senior Finance Systems Analyst (3E) - Manchester (Hybrid) - Permanent - £75,000pa

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst (3E) to join our client, a leading law firm based in Manchester.

This role is responsible for the functional ownership, optimisation and ongoing development of the Elite 3E Practice Management System, ensuring system integrity, data quality and effective collaboration between Finance, IT and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day functional management and support of the Elite 3E Practice Management System.
Oversee BAU support, including triage of functional and technical issues and second/third-line support for complex queries.
Support month-end and year-end finance processes.
Identify and implement system and process improvements to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
Improve financial reporting capabilities, data quality and support BI development and validation.
Lead the functional design, testing and delivery of system enhancements and upgrades.
Manage 3E releases, regression testing and maintain a comprehensive test pack covering core functionality, customisations and integrations.
Assess the impact of business initiatives on the finance system and work with IT on integration changes.
Act as the functional lead for Finance, providing guidance on system capabilities and limitations.
Manage relationships with external system suppliers and support the ongoing performance and resilience of the finance systems environment.

Key Experience
Proven experience implementing, supporting and optimising Elite 3E.
Experience working across Finance and IT teams.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and audit requirements.
Knowledge of systems analysis, solution design and process improvement.
SQL and financial reporting experience.
Experience supporting cloud-based Elite 3E environments.
Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent experience, is desirable but not essential.
