Archer Resourcing is currently recruiting an experienced Recovery Worker to join a substance misuse service in Manchester on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity for a Recovery Worker with a genuine passion for supporting people through drug and alcohol recovery.
As a Recovery Worker , you will provide person-centred, recovery-focused support to service users affected by substance misuse, helping them work towards sustained recovery and improved wellbeing.
Recovery Worker Role details:
Location: Manchester
Pay rate: £20 - £24 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
DBS: On the Update Service (or willing to apply)
What you'll be doing as a Recovery Worker:
Delivering one-to-one and group support sessions for people with substance misuse needs
Completing recovery-focused assessments and support plans
Working with multi-agency partners across health, housing and criminal justice
Supporting service users to reduce harm and progress towards recovery goals
Maintaining accurate case notes in line with service requirements
What we're looking for in a Recovery Worker:
Experience working within substance misuse / drug and alcohol services
Strong understanding of recovery-focused and harm reduction approaches
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
DBS on the Update Service
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults towards positive change
