Your new role
As an R&D Tax Reliefs Manager, you will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the R&D offering, working closely with experienced tax professionals and accountants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking full ownership of R&D tax relief claims from initial scoping through to submission
Managing and overseeing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
Preparing detailed and technically robust R&D technical reports
Producing accurate and comprehensive costings for claims
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships
Ensuring technical compliance and staying up to date with evolving R&D legislation and HMRC guidance
Supporting the wider team and contributing to the development of the R&D function
What you'll need to succeed
Have proven experience managing R&D tax relief claims (typically 3+ years)
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across UK R&D tax legislation
Be confident managing your own client portfolio and relationships
Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
Have excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
Be commercially aware and motivated to contribute to business growth
Be confident using systems and technology to enhance delivery
