The Role

As a Pumps Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing business across the North West and surrounding regional territories, working with existing customers while identifying new commercial opportunities. You'll be trusted to build relationships with engineers, contractors, end users and purchasing teams, providing technical advice and helping customers select the right pumping and dosing solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing an established customer base
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with customers across your territory
  • Providing technical advice on pump and chemical dosing applications
  • Carrying out customer visits and site surveys
  • Working with clients across sectors including water treatment, industrial manufacturing, chemicals and process industries
  • Preparing quotations and managing opportunities through to completion
  • Working closely with internal technical and operational teams

About You

You'll be a motivated technical sales professional who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and winning business through excellent service and product knowledge. You'll ideally have experience selling into one or more of the following sectors:

  • Water Treatment
  • Pumps
  • Chemical Dosing Equipment
  • Engineering Products
  • Industrial Equipment
  • Process Equipment
  • Chemicals
  • Mechanical or Electrical Solutions

You'll also have:

  • Proven experience in technical, engineering or solution-based sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A consultative approach to selling
  • The ability to manage your own territory effectively
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The willingness to travel across the North West and wider regional area
