Are you a Pre Construction Manager from a Building Services or MEP background looking to take ownership of major projects where you will lead the tender and pre-contract process, influence project strategy and play a key role in securing high-value work for a growing contractor?

This building services company has seen continued success and rapid growth since its establishment in 1963. Specialising in complex MEP engineering projects across the Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Life Sciences, Heritage, Hospitality and Residential sectors, the business employs over 400 direct staff and subcontractors across offices in Northern Ireland and Ireland. Having built a strong reputation delivering high-profile projects throughout the UK and Ireland, they are now continuing their expansion across the UK.

In this role, you will take ownership of the full pre construction process for major MEP projects, managing tenders from initial enquiry through to contract award. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review technical documentation, develop winning bid strategies, manage procurement activities, identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities, and work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to secure profitable projects.

This role would suit a Pre Construction Manager from a Building Services or MEP background looking for autonomy, career progression and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in winning landmark projects for a growing business.

The Role:
  • Lead the full pre construction process for large-scale Building Services and MEP projects from enquiry through to contract award
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to produce competitive and technically compliant tender submissions
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions
  • Manage procurement activities and develop bid strategies to secure profitable projects
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the tender process
  • Work Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, with an early finish at 3:30pm on Fridays
