The Opportunity As Merchandiser, you'll take ownership of your own area within the activewear category, working closely with Buying to drive sales, maximise profit and ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
This is a commercially focused role where you'll have the autonomy to influence trading decisions while being supported by an experienced leadership team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include: Owning the WSSI, ensuring accurate forecasting, planning and in-season management.
Managing Open-to-Buy (OTB) to optimise stock investment and availability.
Driving weekly and daily trading decisions through detailed analysis of sales, stock and margin performance.
Identifying commercial opportunities and risks, implementing actions to maximise sales and profitability.
Working closely with Buyers to build commercially successful ranges.
Managing stock flow, allocations and availability across all channels.
Producing insightful reporting and presenting trading recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Coaching and developing Assistant Merchandisers and Merchandise Admin Assistants, helping them grow their careers.
About You We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Merchandiser who enjoys trading a category and making data-led decisions.
You'll ideally have: Experience as a Merchandiser within a retail business.
Strong trading experience with a proven ability to react quickly to performance.
Excellent knowledge of WSSI, Open-to-Buy (OTB) and stock planning.
Strong analytical skills with the confidence to influence commercial decisions.
The ability to build great relationships with Buying and cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset and a genuine desire to improve processes and performance.
