We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for FOUR permanent HGV Class 2 Waste Refuse to fulfil our client's requirements. This role will be based in Wythenshawe and cover the Trafford area.
The HGV Class 2 Waste Driver position offers a competitive salary and overtime, with standard guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week.
In this HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver role, you will support the client by managing waste effectively, ensuring that highways and surrounding areas are kept clean, safe, and free of debris. You will collaborate with members of the public and other team members to create a hygienic and aesthetically pleasing community.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the HGV and ensure the collection of refuse/recycling from requested locations, following a set route.
- Dispose of refuse/recycling at appropriate waste collection sites.
- Carry out vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with company vehicle policy and legislative requirements.
- Complete appropriate paperwork.
- Work as a member of the team, receiving instructions from supervisors and communicating them with other crew members.
- Maintain operational relationships with the public, customers, and client representatives.
- Deal courteously with complaints and queries.
- Assist with loading responsibilities.

- Full Category C Driving Licence.
- Experience of driving Class 2 vehicles.
- Valid CPC and Digital tacho.
