HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Manchester M32. This is an ongoing role doing 2-3 deliveries per day, with the possibility of the odd collection/back load. This involves long and mid-distance work.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

  • Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
  • Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manner (no handball, this is a nice haulage role)
  • Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
  • Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

  • Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
  • Strapping and reversing competence
  • New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome; training and support provided
  • HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

  • DAYS AND NIGHTS AVAILABLE
  • PAYE Pay rate: £17.00 P/H
