Chef Needed - Stretford
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Chef to work with a leading airline catering provider in Stretford.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality in-flight meals while ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Shift patterns
- Regular roster of 4 on 2 off shift
- Shifts: 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, and 10:00-18:00
Pay rates
- 14.90 GBP hourly
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
Essential requirements for Chef Needed
- Educated to GSE or 'O' levels
- Significant experience of volume cooking in a hotel, restaurant, or airline environment
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
Desirable requirements for Chef Needed
- Basic Food hygiene training or certification
- Recognised City & Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2 for a Chef
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative
- Basic computer skills and high attention to detail
