Assistant Merchandiser | Lifestyle Brand The Role

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you'll be at the heart of their stock and planning operations ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price.

You'll support the Merchandising team to produce strategic, profitable seasonal range plans while helping to manage stock.

This role is analytical, hands-on, and crucial for driving the commercial success of the business.

What You'll

Do: Support the Merchandiser in planning, forecasting and trading product categories to achieve sales, profit and stock targets.

Produce and analyse weekly trading reports, identifying risks and opportunities while making recommendations to maximise profitability.

Monitor sales performance, stock levels and intake, reforecasting demand and optimising availability throughout the season.

Manage purchase orders, deliveries and supplier critical paths, working closely with suppliers, logistics and internal teams to resolve supply chain issues.

Analyse category performance, sell-through and stock data to inform range decisions, blanket orders and strategic stock planning.

Collaborate closely with Buying and cross-functional teams on seasonal planning, budgeting and commercially balanced product ranges.

Prepare regular trade and performance reports, support wider merchandising projects.

About You: 2 years' experience at Allocator / MAA level.

Highly analytical with excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

Confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis functions.

Able to prioritise workload and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
