Location: North Norfolk - South Lincolnshire Salary: Upto £47,500 + bonus + van + private healthcare
Are you a Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience in process plant, food manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical or heavy industry?
We are recruiting for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a number of Anaerobic Digestion, biogas and gas upgrading plants across North Norfolk and South Lincolnshire.
This is a varied field-based role focused on keeping plant running safely and reliably through planned maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown response.
The Role Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and instrumentation faults
Work on compressors, pumps and piping systems
Support plant breakdowns, shutdowns and major overhauls
Use electrical test equipment including multimeters and insulation testers
Work with three-phase systems, electrical diagrams and PLC-controlled equipment
Support plant start-ups and commissioning activity
Complete service reports and maintenance records
Maintain van stock and spare parts
Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota
Follow strict Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
What Were Looking For You should have a strong electrical/mechanical maintenance background and ideally experience within process plant, food manufacturing, utilities, chemical or petrochemical, oil & gas, steel, heavy industry, Anaerobic Digestion, biogas or CHP.
Experience of three-phase electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs, pumps, compressors and fault-finding would be particularly relevant.
Ideally you will hold an HNC, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification or have completed a time-served electrical apprenticeship.
